TEAM INVOLVEMENT

What are the TEAM objectives for Pledges?

At the First Level if your TEAM can raise $500 in pledges by Race Day you will be eligible to collect trophies and medallions if you win your final race.

At the Second Level if your TEAM can raise $1,000 in pledges by Race Day you will receive a refund of $250 of your Entry Fee.

At the Third Level if your TEAM can raise $2,500 in pledges by Race Day you will receive a refund of your Entry Fee.

At the Top Level if your TEAM can raise the most in pledges by Race Day you will receive a refund of your Entry Fee and win a Team Prize.

Normie's Spirit raised $8,888.88 in 2007 to be our top of the Top Level - and part of that total was donating their refund right back into the Pledge program. They set the mark very high but they still issue a challenge to any team that can raise more funds than they will in 2008.

Can you getter done? Can your team meet the challenge?

  • Why bother getting involved in the Pledge Program?
  • To raise money for very worthwhile Charities
  • To help less fortunate citizens in need
  • To get that good feeling knowing that you are contributing to your community
  • We raised about $20,000 each year for the Grand River Hospital Child Services - but now we have the opportunity to raise the bar up to $40,000 and include other worthwhile Charities with just a little extra effort
  • This program is completely an option - so if you wish to contribute just by being in the Festival we welcome you.
  • But for those of you who love this kind of Challenge we also have some rewards for the best TEAM's Contribution
  • And for that Special Individual who brings in the Highest Charity Dollars we have a Special Prize
  • Details to Follow - but I hope you like to travel
