ELIGIBILITY
Who's on your Team?
Only teams from Ontario schools meeting the affiliation criteria below may participate. There is no limit to the number of teams that
can be entered per school. However, all team members must have some
affiliation (formal or otherwise) with the school being represented.
Your team must have at least 8 female paddlers in every race.

Team managers are responsible for ensuring that all team members have such affiliation.
What Does It Cost?
The team entry fee is only $875.00 (less than $40 per person based on 22-25 team members).
For Your Entry Fee You Receive:

Two free practice sessions with professional
instruction. Free entry into Laurel Creek for Practices
and Race Day provided you have your Dragon Boat Pass

A $125 discount is given if you have your own
qualified steersperson.

Participation in at least three races on Festival day.

Use of a professionally trained steersperson during your
races at no extra charge.

Free daytime camp sites on the waterfront on the day of the event.

Trophies/prizes for winning teams. The winner of the Consolation Race Final
receives a team trophy. The winner of the Championship Race Final receives a team trophy
and individual medals.The winner of the Grand Championship receives the EVENT Trophy, individual
medals and a team prize.

Free entry into the Dragon Boat Arts & Crafts Fair.

A chance to win the overall Festival Championship Trophy
in a challenge match between the Open Division winner and the
College and University Division winner.

A great summer outdoor recreation experience.

Because this is a Kiwanis project to provide funds to Charity the cost
of the comemerative event t-shirts has been donated to the Grand River Hospital
projects. That means no free T-shirt this year unless you bring in at least $25
on our new Charity Pledge Program.
