The 2011 Waterloo Dragon Boat Festival is being hosted by the University of Waterloo Dragon Boat Club!
The event will happen in early July, 2011.

Registration will be open beginning in the Fall of 2010. Start getting your team together and ready to race! Practice sessions will be available in the weeks leading up to the regatta, along with qualified coaches and steerspeople to help get your team started. Pull together 20 or so of your friends, classmates, coworkers and/or family members and get ready to show everybody just how fast you can paddle down our 500m race course next July - Paddles up!

Divisions include community, corporate, premier, cancer survivors, and universities. Race distances are 200m, 500m and 2k - one of the few regattas in Ontario to offer these international distances. As always, we will be using IDBF style dragon boats, electronic timing system on a verified 200m, 500m and 2k course.

This year promises to be another fun-filled family event out in the sunny Laural Creek Conservation Area,
with live entertainment/music, food and beverages.
